Biography:

Mr. Hayden Dinges has experience litigating in state and federal courts as both a trial and appellate attorney. He has a background in civil, criminal, and appellate litigation as well as insurance coverage. Mr. Dinges first joined The Blake Horwitz Law Firm in 2019 and worked for the firm as a law clerk throughout law school. Prior to becoming an associate at the firm, Mr. Dinges worked as an appellate prosecutor at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and associate attorney at one of the largest firms in the U.S.

Mr. Dinges graduated with high honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law and was elected into the Order of the Coif for his outstanding academic performance. In law school, Mr. Dinges earned multiple CALI Awards for obtaining the highest grade in Legal Writing I, Legal Writing II, Legal Writing IV, Appellate Advocacy, and Trial Advocacy. He was also the Vice President of Chicago-Kent’s prestigious Moot Court Honor Society. Mr. Dinges won the Best Brief Award in all four moot court competitions he participated in, including Best Brief in the Nation at the 2021 New York City Bar Association National Finals competing against 170 teams from 110 different law schools.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Dinges received his bachelor’s degree with honors in English and Urban Studies from Vassar College and worked as a management consultant for several years at a nationally renowned consulting firm.
